Shearwater Creek is an approved 140 unit attached residential project in Old Town Temecula. The buildings, a combination of two-story townhomes and three-story stacked units, were inspired by the style of Irving Gill, an architect from San Diego. San Diego-based developer Ambient Communities is working to transform 200 acres west of Old Town Temecula into a community that will feature homes, condominiums, apartment buildings, parks, public trails and a civic component, which could end up being a college campus or a hospital.

The Pechanga Casino proposed $285 million expansion – which would create around 3,000 construction jobs and 560 permanent jobs – includes construction of a wing housing 548 hotel rooms and 67,000 square feet of space that can be used for conventions, concerts or sporting events.
It also includes a “resort-style” pool complex that will cover 4 acres and a standalone, two-story 23,000-square-foot building that will feature a spa, salon and a fitness center.
The tribe hopes to break ground in 2016.

Ashbrook Communities has purchased 7.7 acres in Temecula, California. The property is located on the corner of Peach Tree and Deer Hollow Way in the Redhawk master plan community. The business plan is to re-entitle the property for 77 single family detached homes.

October 21, 2015 Public Hearing for LR10-0014 Uptown Jefferson Corridor Specific Plan. The Project would include a form-based code to better define development regulations and design standards in order to encourage higher density urban development. Anticipated build-out of the Specific Plan assumes up to 3,726 residential units, approximately 1.7 million square feet of commercial uses, and 315 hotel rooms. The project is located north of Rancho California Road, west of Interstate 15, south of Cherry Street, and east of Diaz Road.
